Can I use the panels around a fireplace?
The panels have been used in countless applications around fireplaces. The panel should never around the corner into the firebox and be exposed to an open flame, but traditional they are perfectly fine up to the edge of the opening. Though it is not common, some fireplace manufactures request that fireproof material be used around the fireplace. We always suggest checking with manufacture of the fireplace, but again we do not see this requirement to often.
