No, the Superior Faux Beams are very light weight. In fact the over all average weight is about 20.lbs.
Are The Mouldings & Beams Easy To Work With?
Yes, all of the Superior Products are easy to install. All you will need are traditional woodworking tools. Such as
hand or electric saw, measuring tape, nails/screws, etc.
Does Superior Make Flex Mouldings?
Yes, all of our mouldings are available in Flex. The flex mouldings are made specifically for your project. It
typically takes two weeks to product the flex mouldings for your project. There are special order forms that are
required to be completed when ordering flex. We will be happy to send you the forms, please contact us by

Does Superior Building Supplies Sell Direct?
No, we have an outstanding network of distributors that will be happy to assist you in anyway. Working with a

What Are The Benefits of Polyurethane?
Products that are made out polyurethane have numerous advantages. A few major benefits of polyurethane are:
economics, lightweight, easy to install, impervious to moisture, does NOT rot or decay, insect resident,
spectacular and lifelike detail, and polyurethane will not turn or twist over time, as wood can and will do.
Does your product expand or contract?
As with all decorative accents made from both wood and polyurethane there is a small degree of expansion and
contraction. However, the Superior product line will expand and contract 1/2 of what wood does. We recommend
that you store your products in room temperature area prier to installation.
Can The Product Be Used Outside?
Yes, polyurethane can be installed outside. However, it is very important that you either finish the product with
outdoor grade paint/stain and or coat the product in a UV protection to prevent the stain/paint from fading?
Do The Superior Products Come finished?
All of our products under the Superior Architectural Accents lines such as mouldings, medallions, corbels, onlays,
etc, come with two coats of white primer on the product. The items come to you ready for either gel-staining or
panting.
The Superior Faux Beams & Corbels, come both finished and unfinished. The unfinished beams come ready to
gel-staining or painting. When ordering a finished beam or corbel the only color offered is a Dark Oak finish.
Is There Touch Up Stain For The Beams?
