2016 was an exciting year for Superior Faux Wood Truss Systems. Over the course of the year, Superior Building Supplies shipped over 62 fully assembled truss systems across North America.
The largest truss system that shipped fully assembled was delivered late in 2016. CVS Pharmacy in Jupiter Florida ordered a custom arch-bow truss that was over 36 feet long and just over 16 feet tall. This truss not only arched but also bowed outward.
CVS is currently in the process of redesigning their stores and the perfect focal point to any project is a Superior Faux Wood Truss System. In addition to the truss, over 116 custom rafter tails/corbels were used in this project. Along the outer perimeter, a custom decorative wood grain trim was installed where most of the custom rafter tails were installed.
Superior Building Supplies supplied worked closely with the architect and onsite installation team to make sure that everything was made to the correct requirements. Once the architectural team approved the shop drawings of the installation, production started right away. Less than 4-1/2 weeks later the very precise truss shipped out and was installed shortly after.
