Now that we have the faux beam installed along the peak, it is now time to install the beams along the rise. This can be accomplished easily by utilizing a piece of cardboard that is a 1-1/2 to 2 feet long and a utility knife.
Step 1: Hold the cardboard along the ceiling starting where the ceiling and wall join together.

Step 2: Fold or cut the edge of the cardboard until it fits flush against the wall and ceiling
Step 3: Place the cardboard onto the end of the faux beam and trace the pattern.
Step 4: Cut the beam along the traced marking, using a saw or utility knife.
Step 5: Install the beam along the rise as a standard installation.
